What is HArmonyCa Filler?
HArmonyCa filler is a safe and effective way to achieve comprehensive facial rejuvenation without surgery. It is an innovative hyaluronic acid filler designed to add natural-looking volume and lift to the face. Unlike traditional fillers that simply fill lines and wrinkles, HArmonyCa filler creates a lifting and repositioning effect. This innovative approach targets the underlying causes of an aged appearance, producing comprehensive rejuvenation.
The Science Behind HArmonyCa
As we age, the soft tissues of the face lose their youthful positioning and support. HArmonyCa is a dual-injection treatment that combines hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxyapatite (Ca). This unique approach simultaneously hydrates the skin and stimulates collagen production, resulting in a lifted and rejuvenated appearance. The HA component provides immediate hydration, while the CA promotes long-lasting collagen stimulation for a comprehensive skin revitalization experience.
Benefits of HArmonyCa Filler
HArmonyCa filler offers a unique blend of advantages for those seeking to restore a youthful appearance. Here's a closer look at the key benefits that set it apart:
● Natural-Looking Results: HArmonyCa delivers subtle yet noticeable improvements. The combination of HA (HA=Hyaluronic Acid) and Ca (Ca=calcium hydroxyapatite) works together to enhance your natural facial features without appearing overdone.
● Long-lasting Effects: Unlike some fillers, HArmonyCa boasts extended results. You can enjoy the benefits for up to 18 months, depending on the treated area and individual factors. This translates to fewer appointments and long-term satisfaction.
● Dual Action Approach: HArmonyCa tackles ageing concerns from two angles. The HA provides immediate hydration and volume, plumping up wrinkles for a smoother appearance. Meanwhile, Ca stimulates collagen production, leading to long-term improvements in skin structure and elasticity.

● Minimally Invasive Procedure: Compared to surgery, HArmonyCa offers a much gentler approach. The treatment is performed using a fine needle, minimising discomfort and downtime. This allows you to resume your daily activities quickly.
● Safe and Effective: HarmonyCa is a filler with a well-established safety profile. Clinical studies and real-world experience have demonstrated its effectiveness in addressing various signs of ageing.
● Versatility: This versatile filler can be used to address a wide range of concerns across different facial areas. Whether you’re looking to smooth wrinkles, restore lost volume, or improve skin texture, HArmonyCa can be tailored to your specific needs.
How Does the HArmonyCa Procedure Work?
During the HArmonyCa filler treatment, the filler is precisely injected into strategic areas of the face using a specialised injection technique called the OPTYCAL™ Positioning Delivery System. This allows the filler to gently reposition and lift the soft tissues, creating a refreshed, rejuvenated appearance from within.
Who is HArmonyCa Filler Treatment for?
HArmonyCa filler is suitable for addressing various ageing concerns, including:
- Sagging cheeks, nasolabial folds, and jowls
- Marionette lines and downturned mouth corners
- Hollow temples, under-eye areas, and tear troughs
- Loss of definition in the jawline and chin
How Much Does HArmonyCA Filler Cost in the UK?
The quantity of filler needed will depend on the specific areas being treated and the desired outcome. During your consultation, Skinoza specialists will assess your needs and recommend the appropriate amount of filler to achieve your goals.
Different areas of the face may require varying amounts of filler. For example, addressing deep wrinkles around the mouth might require more filler compared to subtle volume restoration in the cheeks.

FAQ
What is HArmonyCa™?
HArmonyCa™ is a hybrid dermal filler that combines Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA) with Hyaluronic Acid to create an immediate skin lift and gradually stimulate continuous collagen production for a more youthful look. The CaHA supports the body’s collagen production and works deep within the skin to produce new collagen fibres as early as one week after injection, while the Hyaluronic Acid provides hydration, leaving skin looking full and glowy.

Is HArmonyCa™ a type of filler?
Yes, HArmonyCa is a dermal filler intended for facial soft tissue augmentation.
How do HA and CaHA work in HArmonyCa™ treatment?
The hyaluronic acid particles work deep within the skin, where they help plump it up for an immediate lift effect. Calcium hydroxyapatite particles support the body’s own collagen production, so new collagen fibres start to grow. As the gel slowly disappears over time, a firm and dense collagen network is built in its place for a gradual, long-lasting lift from calcium hydroxyapatite. The clinical effects of CaHA can last 1-3 years.
What is the Post Treatment Advice for HArmonyCa™?
Drink plenty of water post treatment.
1. Avoid washing the treated areas to avoid contamination.
2. Avoid alcohol consumption and smoking.
3. Avoid exercise.
4. Avoid excessively hot environments such as saunas.
5. Avoid exposing yourself to direct sunlight.
6. Irritation and redness should subside 24-48 hours after treatment. Swelling may last for up to a week after treatment. Apply an ice pack or cold compress to the treated area 24 hours post treatment to reduce irritation. If small bumps appear under the skin, massage the treated area to resolve the issue.
What skin concerns can HArmonyCa™ treat?
HArmonyCa™ can treat:
1. Fine lines and wrinkles
2. Premature ageing
3. Rejuvenation/skin health
4. Clients who could benefit from improvement in skin architecture and soft facial tissue augmentation.
How long is a HArmonyCa™ treatment?
This treatment takes approximately 20-30 mins.
How many treatments HArmonyCa™ are required?
The number of treatments required may vary depending on the individual, however, results are visible after just one treatment. Results last 18-24 months.
Where is HArmonyCa™ injected?
HArmonyCa™ can be used under the skin in the deep dermal and sub-dermal layers in certain areas of the face and cannot be injected around the eyes, the lips or around the mouth. During your consultation, your therapist will discuss your concerns and suggest which facial areas can be treated with HArmonyCa™
How long does it take to see a result from HArmonyCa™ treatment?
Results can be seen immediately after treatment, with skin looking hydrated and lifted, while collagen production can begin within one week of treatment.
What does the HArmonyCa™ procedure involve?
Your therapist will first discuss your concerns and assess whether you are suitable for treatment with HArmonyCa™. They will then use injections with HArmonyCa™ in the areas of the face that need treating. HArmonyCa™ contains lidocaine, an anaesthetic, to reduce the pain you may experience during treatment.
Does HArmonyCa™ treatment hurt?
HArmonyCa contains a local anaesthetic called lidocaine. This numbs the area to reduce pain and also reduces other side effects such as burning and edema.
How long will the results last?
Because HArmonyCa is a mixed dermal filler, its lifting effects can last a very long time, up to two years or until the filler is completely broken down by the body. Because it has calcium hydroxyapatite in it, it lasts longer than most fillers and keeps working because calcium hydroxyapatite helps the body heal itself. We think that HArmonyCa will become very common in our clinic, mostly because it has these two long-lasting effects.
What makes HArmonyCa™ different from Biostimulators or other Dermal Fillers?
Biostimulators and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers work differently and may not give the same results. HArmonyCa™ combines calcium hydroxyapatite with hyaluronic acid, capturing the potential benefits of both in one.
HArmonyCa vs Juvederm
Juvederm is made up of only Hyaluronic acid dermal filler, but HArmonyCA also has calcium hydroxyapatite in it, which makes it a mixed filler. This makes collagen, which makes the skin tighter and last longer.
HArmonyCa vs Sculptra
HArmonyCA is a new kind of filler called a hybrid filler. It combines the best features of two different types of fillers: dissolvable hyaluronic acid skin fillers and calcium hydroxyapatite, which is known to help collagen grow. Poly Lactic Acid is used to make Sculptra. This acid helps collagen grow, but it doesn’t have any immediate lifting benefits.
HArmonyCa vs Profhilo
Profhilo works to deeply moisturise the tissues, which smooths out lines and wrinkles and makes the face better over time. However, it only lasts for 4 to 6 months. Not only does HArmonyCa moisturise your skin with hyaluronic acid, but it also has calcium hydroxyapatite, which makes the effects last longer and give your face a lift.
What are the risks of getting fillers?
Severe complications from dermal fillers are uncommon. Potential risks vary depending on the specific filler used and the relative permanence of the filler substance and include:
Acne-like skin eruptionsAsymmetry
Bleeding from the injection site
Bruising
Damage to the skin that results in a wound and possible scarring
Infection at the injection site
Lumps
Palpability of the filler under the surface of the skin
Skin rash with itching
Skin redness
Swelling
It is important that you address all your questions directly with one of our practitioners. Although good results are expected from your procedure, there is no guarantee that you will be satisfied with your results. Can I have my treatment and the consultation on the same day?
Yes most of the treatments can be done straight after consultation.
If you are not sure which treatment you need please don’t worry. Feel free to book an appointment for a consultation. It’s very common for people to change treatment during the consultation.
Is this treatment painful?
The discomfort is pretty minimal. We use a very strong numbing cream and local anaesthetic to numb the pain.
What are the side effects of HArmonyCa™?
As with any product, side effects can occur. Some of the most common include:
Redness
Swelling
Pain
Tenderness
Itching
These are often mild.
What can I expect after the treatment?
Please remember we can only enhance our natural features. It is not possible to completely change them. Any treatment should be looked at as an improvement rather than a cure. It is not always possible to create the desired look if your facial anatomy does not allow. Please remember our faces are not symmetrical and sometimes no amount of filler can correct this.
